I'm 6u35.u005.407. But you can call me Mr. 407 if you're not good with long numbers. I'm an Art Director by profession with interests in movies, rocking music and video games. Welcome to my blog. A small spot in the world wide web that serves as an outlet for my opinions, creations and just about anything that's going through my head. So stick around or drop me a note.
If you're a fan of comics and action figures, chances are, you need to have at least a Wolverine action figure in your collection. I do! but not the usual blue briefs in yellow spandex version. nor is it the yellow mustard and shit brown variant. No. I got the Hugh Jackman version. Mind you, it was not just any regular movie figure. It was a 'Street fight Logan with claw slashing action' from X2.
Street Fighter
You're probably wondering why did I not bother getting a classic comic Wolverine for my collection right? Honestly, the whole blue and yellow spandex doesn't work for me. It makes no sense at all! Think about it for a second; we have James Howlett/Logan also known as Wolverine, an immortal mutant killing machine with indestructible bones and razor sharp claws and a real mean attitude to boot. Right? He drinks like a fish, curses like a sailor and smokes like a chimney. A real classic badass! Now put him in yellow spandex. Can you take him seriously? Can you take anyone in yellow and blue spandex seriously? That's right!
Which is why I prefer the civilian get-up for Wolverine.
Fuck...
Then one day, I decided to do a custom Wolverine based on the comics. Of course, I mentioned the blue and yellow doesn't work for me so I'm definitely not going to waste my time making one. After much research and deliberation, It was decided that I'll try my hand at customizing the X-force variant of Wolverine's costume. Behold the result:
X-Force Wolverine was made from a DCUC Dr. Impossible with some epoxy putty sculpt on the mask. The claws are actually metal hairpins for my wonderful girlfriend. Cut in an angle and grinded to smooth out the edges, these things can really do some damage. I used metallic silver paint and gloss black to paint his costume and bronze flesh for his skin tone.
To be honest with you, I'm pretty proud of how this li'll fella turned out. It's probably the custom with the most extensive amount face-lift I've ever done. Sure. I love Marvel Legends but the whole "Lament Configuration" styled ball-jointed hips drives me nuts. DCUC with it's H-jointed hips and the now iconic Four-Horsemen sculpted base body offers great posebility and your customs are guaranteed photogenic.
Holy Heihachi! The trailer for Tekken looks promising. Honestly though, I'm a little irked they decided to put in so many characters for the newer game titles like Raven and Christy but left out old favorites like Hwoarang and Gun Jack. Oh well... at least it isn't directed by Uwe Boll.

Seriously! Who in the right mind would come up with such a creepy kiddy ride? I'd be traumatized if my parents sat me down on this creepy over-sized shoe, with a leprechaun staring blankly into my eyes, almost telling me it wants to devour my soul! Oh god! don't look into his eyes!!
This sucker took me almost a year to build. I used a Marvel Legends Punisher for a base. Sculpted jeans bottoms over the boots and dremeled off the knee pads. sculpted the leather jacket and swapped the head with ML Longshot I bought in Singapore.
Jenifer is a 10-page comic by Bruce Jones and drawn by renowned horror artist Bernie Wrightson that appeared in the original Creepy #63 from Warren Publishing. It was adapted by Dario Argento in his episode of Masters of Horror anthology. Pretty creepy in my opinion.
This is probably the most coolest geek music video ever create! John Boswell edited together clips from Carl Sagan's Cosmos and Stephen Hawking's Universe series to create this awesome video. I'm not a huge fan of autotuning but this is done exceptionally well. It is catchy and deeply profounding for some reason. The fact that if I ever wanted to make an apple pie from scratch, I'll need to invent the universe first just blows my mind into a whole new level. Besides, who can deny the sheer awesomeness of Stephen Hawking's cameo?
Holy fucking shit guys! Check this shit out! The Expendables is a new film helmed by The Italian Stallion, Stallone and it stars the biggest ass kickers from the 80s including Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Stone Cold Steve Austin and cameos from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis. What's not to love bout this movie?
This movie blows my mind in so many levels! John Rambo, John McClane and The Terminator on screen at the same time! Rocky and Ivan Drago rematch anyone? Wong Fei Hung kicking ass with Chev Chelios! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one. This could turn out to be the biggest throwback to 80s action flicks or have the potential to be a hulking pile of steaming, stinking disappointment.

I stumbled upon this list while browsing in digg. I got a little curious and wondered in Thailand was in it. Guess what? It isn't! But what i found surprised me though, Malaysia is listed as no. 7! Surprise! A bunch of horny bastards aren't we? Link
I'm gonna start by stating the obvious here, Gears of War is awesome! The gameplay is frantic, the action is intense and the kills are visceral! Video game developer Epic Games and Microsoft came up with an amazing title worthy of being deemed "Best Game Ever"
The game is set in a fictional planet of Sera where humanity is fighting a war with the cavern dwelling Locusts. You play as Marcus Fenix, a gruff soldier who's sent the the slam for desertion. The game begins with your trusty buddy, Dominic Santiago springing you out of jail to rejoin the battle. And from that point on, it's a mad roller coaster ride to the finish.
The storyline isn't exactly Metal Gear Solid level in terms of depth but it's definitely one of the best out there, with intriguing dialogue and well crafted side-characters to keep you engaged to the very end. Marcus, Dom and the inclusion of a loud-mouthed former 'Trash Ball' superstar, Augustus Cole and a cynical and sarcastic techie named Baird make up Delta Squad, a 4-man army ready to kick Locust ass and take names. The characters are well fleshed-out and exudes the right amount of charm to make you care.
The missions and scenarios presented are very creatively executed and engaging with a lot of creativity put into make each one of them different and stand out from one another. My ever-loyal gaming bro, Junzeto and I had no problem reminiscing and recounting our favorite parts of the game. Gameplay is built around a very solid cover system mechanic. You'll have to dive for cover and peek around corners as bullets whizz by and fire at your target with precision. You also have the option to blind fire at your enemies and lay down some cover fire. The fun-factor doubles when this element of gameplay is shared with a buddy via co-op where you and your partner can take cover and plan a tactical 2-man offense/defense flanking maneuver on the Locust scum.
It gets sweeter! Here, Let me summarize it for you with a logical, simple and effective mathematical equation
Now imagine having your buddy crouched behind the safety of a low wall, laying down some cover fire to keep the Locusts at bay while you sneak around the bend and come up to a lone Locust Drone who's oblivious to your oncoming presence. Busily exchanging bullets with your buddy in a frantic firefight. Unaware as you sneak up on the poor stupid fucker and......
I was gonna finish this review. But the image above just did it for me. So... umm.... Gears of War : GOOD so.... If you'll excuse me, I need to go bury my chainsaw bayonet into someone's face.
